Poured from a 16 oz can dated 3/21/2022 into a Willi Becher pint glass.
L - Pours a clear amber color with a significant white head that dissipates slowly leaving lots of lacing on the glass.
S - Smells malty.
T - Tastes malty and bitter.
F - Medium body and carbonation.
O - Nice English IPA for a change.

12oz bottle, flute-like beer glass, no freshness date.
Crazy that this hasn’t been added to BA as one a core beer of one of Richmond’s oldest craft breweries. It’s pretty, great head and lacing, clear, amber tones. Aromas of caramel malt, herbal hop. Whole grain cracker, herbal and peppery hops, medium bitterness. Medium bodied, creamy medium carbonation. Overall pretty good for an American version of an English IPA, but it seems to have a bit of an identity or time period crisis. Is it supposed to be more “authentic” or modern?

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
