On tap at Legend and Capital Ale House.
Dark reddish amber in the light. Fig and brown sugar on the nose. Warming to offer a more complex fruit character, some yeast and a touch of alcohol at times.
Taste follows with fig and a bit of cherry. Perky carbonation. Alcohol is well hidden on the tongue. Warming does deliver this to some degree but not enough to offer much of a lingering finish. Good drinkability, particularly given the hidden nature of the alcohol.
Overall rather clean and bright in flavor and has a narrow sweet spot with regards to temperature and carbonation.
I really enjoyed it. It reminded me a lot of Utopias for some reason. Of course less alcoholic and not as sweet but the flavors were there.

served to me by Jenny at Legend. or Jenni, oh, I hope it's Jenni. dark orange, strong aroma of toffee and less so alcohol and berries. complex flavor, honey sweetness, caramel, toffee, alcohol, little sourness. pretty fun. carbonation is good off the draft, jenny had to run back to the tap and top it off in the way only she can. i'm assuming this is the same beverage as previously reviewed (i believe it was the same abv, and how many quads does legend do a year?) i can assure you that one is enough, as long as it is poured by Jenny.
