The cask was tapped Friday night at the Legend brewpub, and I arrived Saturday afternoon and was lucky enough to get one of the last remaining pints! Served in a standard pint glass.
A - Hazy Ruby coloration with a brownish hue. Produced a thin layer of froth that hung about and left behind some washy lace.
S - Citrusy notes with a hint of pine, and possibly fresh peaches.
T - Slightly fruity, but with a hop-forward profile. Mildly sweet, but with a good bitterness to balance. Hints of grapefruit and again peach shine through.
M - Light bodied with a low carbonation level. Slightly oily with a semi-dry finish.
D - Great brew, glad I got the opportunity to try it. Apparently they pop a cask every Friday, so hopefully it will make a return!
