Pours a deep copper, light head and moderate lacing. Aroma is on brand …piney. Spruce! Upon the tongue, earthy …notes of grass and spruce. The malts work well here. There’s a toasty feel to this. I’m sipping this on a warm day, but it would be an excellent fall/winter beer. Waited a long time to taste this fellow and it’s a winner.
