Our group stopped here on a Friday mid-afternoon for a light lunch and to try their beers. We were surprised that they were not busy. The place is in a storefront setting and is located on a downtown pedestrian mall among other retail businesses. The interior makes me thing of an European restaurant or cafe, and I suppose with its name, that's what they were going for. A long bar with 12 stools is located to the right after entering, and two rows of tables fill the remainder of the dining area.
We wanted to try as many of their beers as we could by ordering a flight, but they do not offer sampler-sized pours. (NOTE: the beers are currently contracted brewed by Champion, but brewing equipment is being installed so that the beers will soon be brewed on premises. With four people in our group, we ordered 4 different (of the 11) of their beers and shared them. Most of their beers are Belgian styles, but some American and one Czech were represented. It's a very nice line-up. We enjoyed our beers and scored all of them a B or a B+ grade. They also offer several guest taps and bottled beers.
We only ordered appetizers to go with our beers, so no food evaluation is being included with this review. The menu is very tempting. This is a great brewpub that I wish I could visit frequently, but alas, we were 600 miles from home. This brewpub is highly recommended.
