a plenty passable glass of beer, just a low alcohol easy drinker, but its also not as well polished as it could be, and probably should be for what it is. golden is right, shiny and brassy in the glass, clear but not that light, and with a good frothy head to it. the aroma is weirdly sweet for something of this nature, and its not my favorite, honey and baking bread, heavy in a way for what this is trying to be, and without much from the hops or yeast, its sort of overly one dimensional, if that is a valid criticism. i want something like this to be way more drinkable than it really is, and despite it being good enough and all, its just not crisp or clean or interesting enough to make me want to go back to it. a little heavy on the grain side and i think it would benefit from a little belgian or saison yeast to help it finish, or a light noble type dry hopping, something, it needs something, and without it, its sort of lackluster to me, and never really accomplishes what it probably should. decent, forgettable...
