the best of the three beers i had in here this week, a pretty classic wit type, nothing crazy here at all, but a well made beer with fine balance between the flavorful yeast and the wheat malt. pale and hazy yellow, creamy and inviting looking, with a short head on it and nice lace as it drinks down. aroma of white pepper and fresh coriander and clove, faint citrus too, and a white wine element as well, all from the yeast, really nice management of this strain, not fermented too warm and overblown or anything, but still very flavorful too. the wheat is nice, simple, dry, and clean, but adding quite a lot of body and an apparent richness to the brew, an agricultural element and a needed grounding agent. its nice balance for the yeast, and the beer drinks light and springy with citrus in the finish and good carbonation. this is more experly refined than a lot of the others i have had from these guys, traditional but also unique enough to stand out. a very drinkable beer too, nice for the upcoming warmer weather!
