Oak aged sour brown ale with strawberries.

Had on tap @ the brewery.
On arrival 1 finger of fine white foamy head was present on top of a reddish gold body with light haze.
Aroma is fruity with a slight funk. Oak-y wine barrels are present. Very dry. Smell is quite close to dry Rosé.
Taste is tart an has some wild yeast funk. Tart dry strawberry with a hint of wine character. Despite that behind everything there is a grainy "malt backbone" that most sours lack, solidifying this as a beer
Feel is lightly carbonated with a full but very dry with a medium finish. Average but good for a sour.
Overall I'm not a BA sour connoisseur, but this has all the good characteristics of a sour ale while bringing a nice malt character.
