Poured from tap at restaurant. This beer looked almost filtered and not as black as I thought it should be. A good head was there and aromas of slight roast but nothing too much. A thin tasting and light example of a stout in my book. More of a "stout lite". It was a smooth drinker but it does not hold its own against other stouts for stout drinkers.

Whoa. This is a stout. A very full bodied brew with strong (and i do mean STRONG) flavors of coffee and pepper. Poured out to a dark brown color, and a small white foamy head. To my suprise, this beer didn't feel like i had drank a brick, as many stouts do to me. It was a unique brew that i would enjoy again if it was eaiser to find.

This brew poured a medium head of light brown bubbles that quickly dissapated and an opaque black body. It had a malty aroma, a smooth taste and mild roasted malt flavor. It was a very drinkable brew. We had this brew at the Festival in Frankenmuth Michigan.
