Look: Chocolate brown like a candy bar. A very thin white head that quickly dissipates.
Smell: Sweet chocolate, tobacco, and a hint of spiced fruit.
Taste: A subtler version of the nose, backed by just enough bitterness to balance. There’s definite hints of the brandy and even bourbon on the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Average body and carbonation.
Overall: Delicious, though still beaten out by the Trappist greats.
