On tap at the Michigan Brewers Guild Summer Fest
Pours a creamy beige head. Color is a murky caramel bark brown.
Aroma: Sweet chocolate that I don't like. Caramel, dry grassy hops. Kind of sweet. Roasted malts. Nothing I really like.
Taste: Roasted malts and the same chocolate that I don't like. It has to be a kind of Belgian chocolate that is very sweet. Dry grassy hops again.
Mouthfeel: Smooth and creamy reminding me of a nitro tap. Medium bodied with a higher amount of carbonation. Ends with chocolate in the aftertaste.
Overall, I am not too impressed with this beer. It is easy drinking because of the mouthfeel, but I just don't want to drink a lot of this. I have had much better in this style.
