On the dark side for a blonde, this beer is almost a pale amber, definitely a dark yellow. The white head is a small and creamy one, falling somewhat quickly but never diminishing entirely. A foam stays for the session and rings the glass while laying down moderate spotting.
I get very little from the nose, though some effort brings up honeysuckle and grains with a bit of must.
The flavor is odd, moving from bready to grainy to sort of musty with a nutty pith and finishing strangely as a lingering taste is somewhat empty. A bit of bread and leaf even out the middle well enough to make it average as a sugared grapefruit note makes for a balancing sweet/tart sort of element.
This beer is appropriately light-bodied but begins with a strong carbonation that's all fizz and no real substance. Smoothness keeps up pretty well but it's not especially clean and gets a little foamy. It's okay, all in all.
