The beer pours a dark gold color with a creamy white head that slowly fades to lacing. The aroma is good. It has a slightly bitter aroma along with a moderate pale and carapils malt scent. The taste is decent. It has a nice malt flavor that is pale with some malt character. It's bitter, but not too much. The mouthfeel is good. It is a medium bodied beer with adequate carbonation. This is a good drinking APA, but nothing to write home about.

Eye Candy: Translucent, cloudy copper. No head, no carbonation. Resembles a cask brew without the handpull.
The Nose Knows: Mild floral hop with a slight bitter finish. Somehow, a weaker version of the ESB.
Tongueland: Mild floral hop with a slight bitter finish.
Bender Factor: Nothing spectacular, but entirely drinkable.
