Had it on tap, and I must say the aroma and appearance follow the party line of the IPA style. Brilliant head retention, and impression lacing.

I do feel this beer could have benefited from more late hop additions, and an ease on the bittering, which left a little too much of a cloying afterwards. However, having it after maturing a little as opposed to when it just came on tap yielded a much mroe balanced product.

The ABV makes you truly feel a pint like no other, however is a reasonably sessionable beer.

The sharpness of this beer woould go great with one of thier outstanding cuts of meat. My advice, New York Strip on the way to medium!

The beer pours a dark gold color with a thick frothy white head that slowly fades to lacing. The aroma is good. It has a creamy pale and carapils malt scent along with a mild hop aroma. The taste is good as well. It has a mildly bitter hop flavor that is balanced well with a good malt base. It's smooth with a slightly fruity finish. The mouthfeel is fine. It is a medium bodied beer with adequate carbonation. This is a good drinking IPA. It has a well balanced flavor and a wonderful aroma. It's bitter, but not over the top; a fine sessions brew.

Eye Candy: Transparent, orange copper. Beautiful off white foamy 2 finger head. Gentle lines of rising carbonation.

The Nose Knows: Big bitter hop aroma, slight pine detected.

Tongueland: Big, bold, bitter hops, piney finish. Finished slick with residual oil coating the palate.

Bender Factor: Solid interpretation of style.
