Had it on tap, poured an dark, dark brown to near black.
The smell was laiden with lactose and oats, along side roasted malt.
The taste followed the aroma.
The mouthfeel was quite wqatery and lacking in substance.
Although, the lightness of this beer and low ABV make it a decent session beer, especially for a stout.
My main qualm was that this beer tasted very similart to the much better release of the "DownTown Brown" I fear the grain bill had for too much of a commonality.

Eye Candy: Jet black with thin tan head. No retention. Looks thick.
The Nose Knows: Deep rich malt, touch of smoke, caramel and toffee.
Tongueland: Thick and chewy. Rich, deep malts balanced with sweet caramel notes.
Bender Factor: This was the first week it was on. Aging should bring out the depth.
