Tastes of dark roasted coffee with some milk chocolate. A little overly sweet but at least there is enough hop bite on the finish to balance it out. The mouthfeel is thick and coating then you get a warming alcohol. Not bad, but I wouldn’t buy it again.

A 2.04 out of 5? I had to see how bad this really was.
Single 12 oz can poured into small nonic taster.
Pours a tarry black color with a creamy beige head of 1 finger. Looking good so far.
Aromas are pleasantly chocolate-y with oatmeal, coffee, more chocolate, with an undercurrent of bright fruitiness.
Flavor is burnt coffee pot, fruity coffee, sharp hop bitterness, chocolate, oats, and pils malt.
Feel is medium bodied with a soft yet pleasant carbonation, with lingering hop resins.
Overall, this is actually not a bad beer at all. Borders on Black IPA with the bitterness, and the burnt coffee does get a little intense, but it's still tasty, and it does the breakfast coffee element very well. I just might go back for more. At least now you have a typed out review to go off of.
