First stop at Girdwood. Place is packed with happy customers. Mix of locals and transient vacationeers. Hippy vibe proclaimed and accomplished. For me at my age I say that sincerely as I was actually partying myself back in those days. Cool tunes overhead. Lots of seating indoors; good size bar; lots of outdoor fire pit seating that clearly addresses summer fun in South Central AK… but probably is perfect for the ski crowd in colder/ winter weather. Lots of merch. People are great.
Beer selection is good, varied… about 13 taps of their brews. Also offer a cold coffee, Kampuchea and a root beer. Nice!
3 food trucks here today. Word is they’re really good!
Overall a fun, happy place to catch brews from a friendly crew in a great spot in AK @ Alyeska!

this place is amazing, well worth the gorgeous drive from anchorage to check them out, small town feel, modern beers, killer vibes, cannot recommend highly enough! we found it almost by accident, driving around town saw the small sign for the brewery off the road there, had to pull in. they have some fireplaces outside going to take in the stunning mountain views and fresh air. inside the space feels like a colorado ski lodge or something, the proximity to their ski mountain immediately obvious, lots of natural light, airy feel, funky art, wood everywhere, with high ceilings, a small bar with a huge beer menu, the brew house visible in the back behind it, and a sort of food truck courtyard out back with some more patio seating, another fireplace, and a sushi truck of all things seemingly permanently parked there. the energy was mellow right at opening time, and the guys welcomed us in warmly. they had a great mix of beers on tap, a ton of new school hoppy stuff that was all real solid, but i liked the coffee stout done with locally roasted beans the best, downright fantastic. i didnt try them all, the list is big, but they seem to be blazing a pretty nice path in terms of quality. the food truck was awesome, really fresh and ambitious seafood, especially for a food truck, and everyone we chatted with in here was super nice. about as relaxing of a place to drink a beer as i can think of, and i am thankful for our visit here. if you are anywhere near here at all and a beer person, a visit is a must. really cool stuff happening, great people, impressive operation from top to bottom!

At the base of the ski resort, this is am informal, counter-service, grab-n-sit brewpub. No food, nothing fancy but there are five decent beers on tap. Nothing unusual but the breadth is good for the number.

Very informal setting with high-tops in the tasting area and picnic benches outside. The service is, "what can I get you?" If one asks, a description is forthcoming. Otherwise, "enjoy your beer."
