Copenhagen 19/2 2024. 44 cl can from Beer-Me webshop. Brown can with a U with a white outline. Simple an very brown.
Pours opaque dark brown with a big beige head. A bit bubbly. Settles as a thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet sugary and malty odor mingling with dark bitter chocolate and licorice. Boozy vibe. Toffee and brown sugar. Raisins. Liqueur.
Light carbonation. Thick, oily, soft, viscous, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a strong bitterness. Like a mugging by a dark chocolate bar. Aftertaste is bitter with a boozy touch Lingering. Finish is rather dry.
Wholesome and not too sweet.
