I "Walked The Bridge" whilst visiting Island City trying this beer off the tapper as part of an eight (8) sample flight. It poured a clear copper with white head that left some lace. The scent had bitter pine resin and citrus notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet malt base and subtle bitter pine resin with hints of sharp lemon citrus presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of toasted caramel, orange and some piney notes. Very sweet and malty with lots of orange taste. Mild bitterness.

L: Brilliant polished brass under a persistent 1.5" light beige cap with a very fine bead.
S: Pungent room filling aroma with citrus, fresh mowed grass, tropical fruit and melon with some biscuit and a trace of caramel. Hop aromas are high, malt aromas are medium low.
T: the hops are layered, going through several shade of hap flavor as they traverse the tongue - hitting citrus, tropical fruit, wet grass and then dank. A mild sweetness tempers the ho flavors. Hop flavors are high, bitterness is medium high but not harsh. There are also some spicy notes .
F: incredibly creamy, medium body, medium carbonation.
O: This is a great DIPA that hit all the right buttons.

Docksider pours a copper color with with a big long lasting head. Aroma is strong and hoppy. Taste is bold very balanced with a subtle bitter finish. Good body and feel. Overall, a very balanced ipa.
