Drop the Gloves pours a darker brown color, with a smaller, not long lasting head. Aroma is weaker, more mild, hints of smoke. Flavor is a little weaker, very approachable, a hint of smoke, a bit of BBQ and good enough bitter end. Good body and feel. Overall, and easier to drink black IPA, with the flavors you expect.
