I "Walked The Bridge" whilst visiting Island City trying this beer off the tapper as part of an eight (8) sample flight. It poured an opaque dark with thin ecru head that did not leave any lace. The scent had bold bourbon notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to sip with semi sweet dark malt base and strong bourbon presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a decent beer....wanted more from the body.

Undertow Series: Buffalo Trace pours black with a small, tan head. The aroma is filled with excellent buffalo trace bourbon and the hints of vanilla that go with it. The flavor is a big bourbon hint of vanilla. The body is just a little flat. Overall, big bourbon flavors are very good beer. Not very beery, though.
