Hand-harvested local pears underwent a spontaneous wild fermentation, capturing the native microflora of the Driftless region. The resulting perry was then blended into a lightly tart Berliner Weisse, sparking a secondary fermentation that married the two worlds. Bright, effervescent, and gently acidic, this hybrid expresses ripe pear, soft funk, and a touch of farmhouse character. A natural bridge between beer and cider.

Pours a hazy pale yellow with a very small head. The aroma is tart and has a note of fermented fruit. The flavor is tart and dry lots of real pear notes. Good feel. Overall a very nice sour beer and a very good use of pear.
