There’s a soft darkness living in this one. A cold-fermented milk stout that drifts in smooth and easy, with the crooked smile of a dark daydream dressed up like it’s behaving. Something about it feels familiar, yet has the sort of quiet mystery that makes you mutter, “I wanna trust you, buddy… but you’re clearly keeping secrets from me.” with chocolate drifting through like a half-truth told over low light, this kind-hearted friend welcomes you in, "and you know how it goes, everything in moderation, including moderation, I suppose."

Toddy Snides pours a very dark brown, almost black color, with a small but long-lasting, lacing head. The aroma has bitter notes of dark chocolate powder. The flavor is creamy and slightly sweet from lactose, on the first sip, then finishes with a bitter chocolate powder flavor. Good feel. Overall, just a solid milk stout.
