Can. Brewed by Full Circle for HoD. Dark brown with an extra thick, light tan, frothy head.
Sweet aroma of demerara sugared latte.
Bitter camp coffee upon tasting along with some nut and malt loaf.
Light to moderate carbonation and body. Quite dry for a milk stout.
Mildly interesting.

S- It has a clear coffee note, perhaps a touch of smoke too.
L- Superficially black but actually super-dark ruby red. Pours with a 5mm cream coloured foam that soon clears to a ring+patches.
T- Lactose creaminess, a roasty aspect then an intially very odd errr.... fruity? note that has a bit of ABV%-zing following hot on it's heels. Apart from the listing details this is blind tasted. I see Martini in the beers name, does it actually contain it? If so that might be the 'fruity > ABV% zing' here, Coffee comes in in the finish. Apart from lactose being the first note I got on the first sip, I don't sense it again. This beer is not overly rich of sweet (thank heavens),
F- It has a dryness to it, but the 'extra' flavours are bold enough the hops don't get to shine on their own. Mind you in Asia beers tend to notably lesser hopped. Assuming this contains (dry) Martini I wonder if they're using the dry wine note to amplify a smaller measure of hops....
O- I had absolutely no idea what this beer was going to be like. There was a decent risk I'd find it so contrary to my tastes it would be a challenge (i.e. the presumed lactose, wine, possibly OTT coffee and lower hops of an Asian beer). It does taste a bit adjuncty, esp as it now warms but it's interesting and a bit different. I'm also very interested to see that a craft beer scene is now developing in Saigon. 330ml crafty can Canned 25/02/22 BB: = +1yr Bought from Beerforce, Holland Village in Singapore and brought by someone very kind here to the UK!
Above all rated/reviewed, now a quick squint at the can. Contents include: Barley, oats, wheat, cane sugar and coffee beans which makes sense.
