Our collaboration with roots reggae band Signal Fire! Infused with irie and the spirit of Jah, as well El Dorado and Cascade hops, for a crisp, flavorful intense Session IPA loaded with tangerine and tropical fruits. A backbone of oats balances the hop bitterness and creates a silky smooth mouthfeel.

A: Pours a relatively clear medium golden honey in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and moderate burnt orange + medium golden yellow + copper colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy foamy off-white head that slowly reduces to a large patch of slightly mottled very thin film covering the entire surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Slightly stronger than moderate aromas of slightly juicy citrus/tangerine, tropical/mango, tropical/papaya, and citrus/grapefruit hops over the top of moderate aromas of bready + toasted + caramel malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness.
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of bready + toasted + caramel malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of slightly juicy citrus/tangerine, tropical/mango, tropical/papaya, and citrus/grapefruit hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which lingers for a short amount of time leaving a lingering citrus/grapefruit pith flavor.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Initially slightly crisp with a smooth mid-body and a hint of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol, a soft/slightly dry mouthfeel, and very enjoyable flavors + aromas. Wonderfully pleasant and I could easily have a few of these in a session. Reminds me of another "famous" IPA that I have tried but I have been unable to put my finger on exactly which one.
