Downtown Donut Brown

Had on tap. Brown that is so dark it looks black with tan foam. The smell is the star here: roasted malts, coffee, maple candy, cinnamon, and sweet bread that I guess is the donut. Taste is much more roasted leaning than smell, pretty bitter with not much to balance. A touch of vanilla would do wonders. That being said if viewed as a coffee brown instead of a donut brown it makes more sense. Body is sneaky bready, heavy and a little boozy
