This seems currently, as of March 2017, to be the only real beer-oriented eatery in Carson City, given that the Tahoe Brewing place seems to have recently closed - a fact I discovered in arriving in town ready to visit it (the website was still up and running and indicated it was open).
Anyway, a very recent breakaway from the Firkin & Fox chain, it still has some of that chain's feel and elements but seems to be striving to be something more.
It has a decently large beer selection something like 17 beers on tap with some rotating. Selection was pretty good, with a mix of some basic macro standards (Rolling Rock, etc.) but a lot of craft beers, including one from Founders and several local beers from the Reno-Tahoe area.
The building is a great old building in the heart of downtown, practically across the street from the historic old capitol building and the inside has a good English pub feel and look, one good point seemingly inherited from the Firkin & Fox aesthetic. Food was ok overall - pizza was subpar, fried pickles outstanding, the rest mostly not great but good.
Service was excellent - enthusiastic and efficient.
I'd go here again when in town but would not go out of my way to try it as it currently is.
