poured into a teku glass via draft @ the brewery
color is a nice roasty brown with rustic brown foam
smell is bitter coffee
taste follows the nose exactly
carbonation is low and mouthfeel is medium
this was a tad too bitter..a bit of sweetness would do this wonders

Aroma is cold oatmeal, scoop of berries, brown sugar, dash of almond milk, and baker's chocolate chips. Inasmuch as the aroma is muted, it doesn't offend any more than a chocolate energy bar. After one sip I can't help but feel like having just stuck my head in a bag of espresso grounds. Deep, rich earthy chocolate. Bright mineral and pear champagne vinegar acidity. Maraschino cherry, peach oolong. Complex fruit, earth and straightforward sugary sweetness combines for an addicting cup. Good breakfast stout.
