This beer isn't an American Amber / Red Ale . It's a "Honey Pale Ale" with out the ibu's needed for a APA so I guess it's a Specialty Beer .
It doesn't taste to sweet or like honey or sticky like the name or what there other reviewer's are saying .
It's smooth , clean , has a slight sweetness with huge drink ability and great mouth feel and is extremely refreshing.
so tastes like Cascades through and through
2-Row some Crystal 60 or 80 and of course Honey for the name
All day everyday anytime drinking beer :-)

From notes...
Pours a muddied amber color with a slight white head.
Aromas are pleasant and very honey dominant. Not much else noticed, but this is still a nice beer to smell.
Taste is subtle. Some creamy malts, somewhat sweet, with a definite honey taste. But like the smell, not much else going on with the flavors except the honey.
Mouthfeel is ok. Kind of thin, but not bad.
Drinkability is ok as well. This is an average beer at best. It's not bad, and it's drinkable, but it's very one dimensional, kind of boring and uninteresting.

Poured from a 22oz bottle into a pint glass.
A - Beer pours nice transparent amber color with a marginal head and not a whole lot of lacing.
S - Noble hops mostly, but also a tad sweet, but not like I would expect out of a honey beer.
T - Ok, I found the honey this time. The sticky sweetness domintates up front, but I really like the saaz balance in this one. I'm not a fan of theme beers like this, but this is surprisingly decent.
M - Thin. Very thin. The sweetness carries a bit too long in my opinion as well.
D - Being thin has its advantages here. Very drinkable summer beer. Not complex, but it is a hell of a lot better than the macro alternatives.
