Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass.
Deep bold orange, with an opaque solid and shiny appearance with a touch of lemon yellow hues along the edge of the glass. Deep and chunky bright white lacing and head, three fingers easily deep with lots of staying power and mixing big and small bubbles.
Aromatic hop earth and mixing perfume with dank realm characteristics. Hits with sweet weed and muted tropical notes that give a sweetness that is still vibrant but earthy heavy on the nose. Rounds out with a bit of mandarin/tangerine orange sweetness as well.
Palate is a big surprise. Earth and spice hit nicely, but a bigger and bolder mid palate of fruit flavors really opens up. Big notes of citrus orange, but more so tropical punch flavors of pineapple, mango, and guava like crazy. A finishing hinted spiced pine comes in nicely to even make the beer more diverse on the hop bonanza. The fruit character though is the winner here, with flavors bouncing all over in a light but impressive full body that doesn't quit.
Real impressive IPA, very enjoyable, have to remember this one in the future. Between this and Flossy these cats are a dark horse.

16oz can into a pint glass. Appears to have been canned early December, so almost 2 months old.
Looks very good in the glass. Thick orange juice body. Small white head dissipates to a thick ring and faint covering. Scattered lacing
Faintly dank aroma.
On tasting, dankness and grapefruit battle it out, no clear winner. Even a hint of pine from time to time. Soft bitterness, if that makes any sense. Very good drink.
Mouth closer to full than medium, finish a little juicy with a bit of grapefruit.
Overall, well brewed NE IPA, with a lot going on. Sorry to have only the single.

Honeydew and grassy hop on nose. Super hoppy and sweet juicy with substantial bitter backbone. Sticky hoppy finish.

Appearance: Pours a murky honey color with a two finger head; excellent stickage and webs of lacing
Smell: Juicy aromatics, with pineapple, mango and berry tones
Taste: Mango and pineapple forward, with hints of blueberry developing; pithy and bitter, from the middle to the finish, with a passionfruit aspect, though there is an underlying touch of honey from the malt bill that lingers in the aftertaste
Mouthfeel: Medium body; creamy with moderate carbonation
Overall: Lots of juice and plenty of bitterness; those two elements with the hint of underlying honey flavor makes this a first rate NE IPA
N.B. This beer has been released with different hop bills. This review is for Galaxy.

Juicy, hoppy, and malty! This one covers all the bases! Nicely done, smooth drinking and the 7% abv is so well-hidden, this bad boy could get you in trouble!! That being said, enjoy in a "safe"location! ;)
