The 2020 version.
Pours black with a small, sculpted head of foam that leaves no lacing. Aroma is strong vanilla with chocolate. Taste is deep chocolate, with strong vanilla and a smoothness that is rare among beer. Mild coffee is only vaguely present. This is a medium bodied beer and, though 12% ABV, hides it well and prefers to go all in on taste. One might be tempted to drink more quickly because of this and perhaps this is why they chose the name. Simply superb.

Dark, dark brown but no head and very little light brown lace. Very nice, rich aroma of chocolate hits first.
Has the classic stout rich feel, but flavor isn't heavy feeling. Strong vanilla taste makes it seem lighter. I could definitely have a glass of this with my breakfast.

Released November 2020; drank 5/8/21 @ Greta's.
Jet black appearance.
Almost no dark tan head; minimal lace.
Rich notes of medium roast coffee, sweet chocolate & vanilla.
Thick, sticky mouthfeel.
Pastry stout excellence; this is over the top with vanilla, chocolate & coffee, but if this kind of thing is your bag, you're gonna love this. Recommended.
