16 oz can from “21 187”. If that’s the 187th day of 2021 that explains a few things. The appearance is pulpy orange juice yellowish orange, murky to no clarity, and a one finger quickly dissipating head. Aroma of pithy grapefruit and passion fruit. The taste is similar, slightly astringent. A touch above medium carbonation, medium heavy mouthfeel. Kind of scrapes at the tongue. Overall, guessing this it is past it’s prime, as I haven’t had a NA offering yet that wasn’t outstanding.

16 ounce can in a tulip IPA glass.
Partly cloudy dirty orange look. Light and fluffy pure white cap, drape lacing.
Grapefruit right on. Caramelized malt with a bit of alcohol.
Grapefruit flavor with lightly sawdusted caramel malt. More citrus in lemon and clementines.
Sturdy medium body. Hops balance the abv with a dry finish.
Drinkable DIPA, but at 8.2% abv, I won’t drink it very often.

21 113 Julian date (April 23) on bottom of can. Poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint.
A: Mildly hazy medium amber with 2-finger off-white frothy head with good retention and solid lacing.
S: The aroma is standard lemon-lime and red grapefruit citrus, guava, and peach, with some low dank undertones.
T: The flavor is much more assertive with a heavy citrus notes with a slightly hammy dank, herbal low note which I get from Columbus. Pale malty background is apparent with a mild caramel malt note in the late palate. Low esters and low-medium bitterness. Long minty, herbal, and tangerine aftertaste with that same light caramel malt note.
M: Solid medium body with relatively low carbonation which gives a slick feel and pretty dry finish.
O: This beer is a solid WC DIPA with a lot of clear hop flavors layered on a substantial malt background. I enjoyed it - leans old school DIPA with a bit more restrained bitterness and ABV than some of those examples.

Can from Canton St May 2021
Different spin for one of my fave IPA makers - really a bit of west coaster instead of their standard haziness

Pours a hazy golden straw color, ample foamy head. Nice citrusy aroma - I get lemon, orange, and grapefruit. Nice citrus flavor, loads of bitter lemon and fresh orange mixed with bitter grapefruit pith. Bitterness appears at the end and lasts after swallow with a juicy finish. Good carbonation. Overall a very tasty DIPA, would drink again.
