Picked up a 16 oz single from Green's Discount Beverage in Greenville, SC 11-16-21 for $5.14. Canned 7-29-21; consumed 2-20-22. Cold stored since purchase.

Beer poured a hazy orange with a beautiful white head that has some hang time.

Nose definitely has an orange, papaya, pineapple vibe going on.

Taste follows the nose with a light but large malt base that incorporates pineapple, orange, and papaya and mango. Finishes on the sweet side; 3/10 on my bitterness scale.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied and very smooth.

Overall a nice beer. Too bad i bought it warm and it lingered in my beer fridge for too long. Got to believe the balancing hops faded away. Will have to try on tap/fresh at some point in the future.

Drunk right from its 16 ounce can, purchased at the brewery by a friend recently. Very fresh.

Aromas are bright and fresh citrus; grapefruit, orange, tangerine, lemon-lime.

Fruit punch flavor. A mix of oj and tropical and stone fruits. Throw in some berries, too.

Sneaky smooth medium body. Well concealed 9.7% abv. Not too juicy.

Worth a look. Fairly easy drinking for a high abv bomb.

16 oz can, no visible canned date, though “21 161” could mean something. 161th day of 2021? Poured into a top flared pint glass, a murky orange juice color with a one inch head that moves to a thin rim of lace expediently. Aroma is pure orange juice with some grapefruit and some light bready grains. The taste is right in line, though as it warms I get more tropical fruit notes, like papaya? The heat is well hidden , though it pokes through on the finish every now and again. Carbonation is medium, with a full coating feel and a slightly bitter finish. Seek this out. This is a Double NE IPA done right.
