16 oz can, no date, into Calusa Snifter.
Has a dark gold hazy appearance, with a tall creamy cap of 2 fingers, leaving lots of thick lacing as it recedes.
Aroma is really juicy and ripe. Peach, apricot, orange, pineapple, and pine. Very juicy.
Flavor is juicy as well but brings a very bitter piney bite along with it. Mango, melon, strawberry, pineapple, and bitter grapefruit meld with pine, ash, and cannabis. Nicely put together. Does grow a bit cumbersome with its bitterness the more it is sipped. Lots of staying power. You taste it long after it has left.
Feel is juicy and carbonated, is pretty dang soft, something that's missing from our plains IPAs, and has a gritty finish with lots of resins.
Overall, a very enjoyable IPA, even if it's a bit too bitter for me. Glad I bought a 4 pack.
