Dark, dark brown with lots of thick, khaki colored head. Excellent retention. Aroma is chocolate, vanilla, cream and roast. Very nice smelling beer. Taste has plenty of roasted malts and light char. Lactose is present but not overwhelming. Creamy feel. Good beer.

Pint can in a snifter glass, shared with a hottie.
Burnt black color with a thin mocha tan cap, shotgun splatter lacing.
Nice aromas of roasted coffee and dark roasted malt with whipped cream on top. The alcohol comes through, too.
Hearty roasted malt and strong coffee flavors. Creamy and bitter vanilla.
Full and thick body. Roasted and bitter coffee. Alcohol laden slightly sweet cream. The flavors hang on.
Milk stouts are hit or miss, this one works. The mocha could be the key.

A: Pours an opaque yet still clear thick jet black in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and faint dark cola brown + chestnut brown + amber colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall dense creamy sudsy foamy dark tan head that slowly reduces to a handful of small patches of medium thick film surrounded by a large patch of thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of roasted + slightly charred + chocolate + toasted + caramel malts with a light amount of caramel + lactose sweetness. Moderate aromas of dark roasted coffee + dark chocolate/cacao nibs and a light aroma of vanilla. Light aromas of earthy hops.
T: Upfront there are moderate to strong flavors of roasted + slightly charred + chocolate + toasted + caramel malts with a light amount of caramel + lactose sweetness. That is followed by moderate flavors of dark roasted coffee + dark chocolate/cacao nibs and a light flavor of vanilla. Light flavors of earthy hops. There is a moderate to strong amounts of roasty bitterness which lingers through the finish.
M: Full bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Smooth, slightly fluffy with a hint of dryness in the finish.
O: Drinks pretty easily with well hidden alcohol and a pleasantly smooth/fluffy + slightly dry mouthfeel. Enjoyable and not as sweet as I was expecting as there is a very nice roasty bitterness in this beer.
