Look: It pours very dark brown with a light brown head. Head retention is very good.
Smell: It has strong aromas of pine and citrus up front. There are some background roasted notes.
Taste: It has strong citrus with pine in the flavor. There are some grapefruit elements in the background with some roast.
Feel: It has a medium body with strong bitterness. The bitterness has a tad of sharpness to it.
Overall, a well put together black IPA in both flavors and taste.
