Served in 16oz rocks glass. Poured a mostly clear honey-yellow color with less than a half-inch of white head that had OK retention and lacing.
Citrus hop scents were backed up by some general frootiness in the nose. The Rye was barely discernible.
Similar on the tongue, hop dominant, low malt, just traces of rye. An overall light sweetness was countered by a touch of hop bite on the finish.
The body was medium-light, smooth, and had a semi-sweet finish.
Drinkability was fine, but I'm in no hurry to grab another.
Overall, a fairly solid and typical brew. Worth grabbing if you see it.
