Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Label says this is a "DDH Double IPA with Idaho 7 and Galaxy".
Appearance: light yellow hue with a thoroughly hazy body and two thick fingers of frothy ivory foam atop. Looking real good!
Smell: juicy, sweet aroma with a dank, pineapple hop character with a few citrus notes as well. Right up my alley.
Taste: quite sweet and juicy, with more grapefruit and orange in the flavor than in the aroma, but still with a pineapple character and a generally more "tropical" character, perhaps passionfruit or even starfruit. I am down with this.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a good carbonation and a decent creaminess.
Overall: I like this beer a lot. Maybe just a little bit more body and we'd really be talkin'. But the flavor is great!
