Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a slightly hazy, medium golden amber with a two finger white head with great retention and solid lacing. Aroma of lightly caramel and pale malt, citrus and piney hops with a little dankness, orange, grapefruit and light pine; pleasant. Flavor is citrus and mild fruit hops, grapefruit and lemon rind, mild mixed melon and tropical fruit, a touch of pine; solid hop bitterness in the finish with some more pine lingering. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. A citrus forward West Coast style IPA with some hints of fruit hops and pine. Aroma had more caramel and pine than the flavor, but the latter has enough herbal hop notes to keep things interesting. There is a touch of cryo softness, but overall clearly a West Coast profile. Refreshing. I liked the wolf / hop bud hybrid graphics on the can.
