Fruited New England IPA
A recipe we always welcome in late winter, made with mango puree, flaked coconut, Sabro cryo, and Citra cryo hops. Like a spoonful of the famous Thai dish.

Different…never picked up as much yeast in an ipa as I do on this…it isn’t bad, just a little unexpected, and doesn’t add much to the taste. Kind of goes along with the pulpy and thick almost chewy mouthful, which I also find a little odd. The mango is very pronounced on the nose — straight up sweet purée, with a little sweet coconut — but with the taste there’s more goin on, and there’s also a little lively kick (but not bitter exactly) to the mouthful. Interesting beer…not sure what I think of it, to be honest.

Pours a hazy golden color with a thin white and some lacing. Smell is fruity with citrus amid mango Taste has oranges ,mango papaya melon and pronounced coconut ..very nice . Mouth feel is creamy with yeast and coconut yet bitter with mango has a funky wild yeast finish. Wow what different IPA here ..loved it.

L-Hazy deep bronze...perfect 1/4 fluffy white head.
S-Tropical fruits...you guessed it...mango...just a hint of coconut and also some yeast notes.
T-Sweetish....Mango...more pronounced coconut on the taste....finishes with just a touch of what would be considered a Belgian IPA yeasty flavor.
F-Medium bodied...perfect carbonation.
O-Quality beer. Nice blend of the mango, coconut without becoming too sweet with a touch of yeastiness...Definitely not a beer you'd session but not designed to be. Well crafted.
