We layered the most complementary ingredients to recreate the famous mole chocolate. Beginning with a complex malt bill of stout, caramel, chocolate, and black malts, below a layer of flaked wheat for added creaminess, below pounds of ancho chilis, ceylon cinnamon, toasted cacao nibs, and vanilla beans - this beer packs a warmth of spices, heat, and chocolate.

Poured from crowler into glass. No fill date marked on can or on label. Label says this is a '2018' dated beer.
Dark brown colored body. One finger khaki colored head, which reduces down to a thin cap. Leaves behind impressive sheets of lacing.
Main aroma is standard dark roasted malts (with chocolate and coffee), along with cinnamon, vanilla, and spicy chiles.
The taste rolls out to include quite a cast of characters. Starts out dark and roasty, and then moves to vanilla and coffee, and at the end the cinnamon and chiles come forth. There is some light, floral hoppiness that floats above.
Creamy but light mouth feel. Good carbonation. On each sip the chiles leave a little burn in the mouth.
For all of its components the beer seems to lack a depth of flavors, each flavor is rather mild and light, and do not linger. Higher alcohol is hidden. Ambitious brew, and definitely has the semblance to mole. Not great but pleasant. Good to savor before the fire or to pair with a savory pork casserole.
