Nice easy drinking Scottish Ale with a nice roasted maltiness along with a dusting of cocoa. A slight touch of light smoke on the aroma and even lighter on the taste. Body is a bit thin for 5.5% but it does drink real easy. Just a touch watery. Would guess ABV closer to 4.5%. Enjoyable seassionable beer. Has enough flavor and aroma to keep things interesting beer after beer. Would prefer just a bit more body.
