Hops lend some pine and dark berries...Toasted malts...toffee....and a touch of coffee on the malt bill....Like an IPA with oktoberfest malting. To be honest a rebrand as a Hybrid of that would probably jazz up sales..
I seemed to like this better at the tap room than now in the can. (Was thinking I'd score it 4.2-4.3 ) It's really good but I thought it was really good at the tap room. Fresh beer is always better right? Love the way the toasted malts blend with the hops. Nice change up to the IPA scene!

An Interesting IPA Portage calls it a Fall IPA. Its pours a mostly clear copper color with a thin white head.Smell is caramel malts and citrus hops. This drinks like an imperial amber ale , its citrus, pine malts and resin. Its dank and fruity. Mouth feel has pine resin citrus and is balanced well with malts. This is a red/amber ale wrapped up ina DDH IPA.
