Brewed with a mix of our favorite hops this year, including Nelson, Citra Cryo, and Sultana for our six year anniversary. Big, bright, juicy, full of aromatics of juicy pineapple, mango, and tangerine.

Appearance: Pours a mostly hazy (30% clarity) medium to deep orange color with a strong white head. SRM of 8. (3.75)
Aroma: Huge aromas of overripe berries, peach, tropical melon. Resinous and juicy blueberries. (
Flavor: Strong and juicy flavors of overripe blueberry, peach, melon, grape. Resinous and juicy blueberries.
Feel: Heavier-bodied, average carbonation. Heavy, overripe juicy, and sweet.
Compared to Hop Butcher Kielbasa King 6/2023: Pours lighter and clearer, similar head. Stronger aromas. More overripe blueberry, melon, grape. Less orange, tropical pineapple and melon. Heavier and juicier.
Overall: Their six-year anniversary NEIPA and it's a heavy one. Tons of overripe blueberries, peach, and melon. A bit too heavy, sweet, and boozy for my preference but for an imperial NEIPA it's probably one of the better ones. (Rating: 4.00)

16oz can. No dating information found, other than this is brewed for the current anniversary for the brewery.
A tint darker than pale gold colored body. Very cloudy. One finger of white head, sticks around as a partial cap and high ring. Leaves behind one partial ring of lacing.
Aroma is faint, with notes of orange, pineapple, and mango.
Taste is very expressive, much more so than the aroma. Big citrus segment, with tangerine and grapefruit. Tropical pineapple and mango. Repeated sips find a honey pine flavor. Dull earthy, woody aftertaste.
Thick mouth feel, which slows down the imbibing rate. Juicy. Well hidden higher ABV%. Very good carbonation.
The transition from the aroma to the taste is abrupt. The nose does not let on at all about how this beer tastes. Solid A brewing effort here.
