16oz can into a pint glass.
L: Pours crystal clear burnished copper w a 3/4" off white rocky rounded head that has VG retention to a thick skin, good fine steady carbo, spotty sticky lacing w loose banding.
S: Caramelized malts, lightly biscuity, a hint of raisins, brown bread.
T: Candied caramel malts, black tea, stone fruit, a hint of brown bread, wet leaves, figs, dates, it has a halo of caramelized malts in the palate, tastes taper evenly down to the subtle, long bitter linger.
F: Glossy, slick & smoove med to med-light body w a clean center and a med-length soft finish.
O: Very tasty, great feel and crushable for the style. Its EZ drinkability and cleanliness create a well balanced and enjoyable traditional beer. It is excellent in its style.

L-Deep cherrywood color...good clarity..looks impressive but darker than most maibocks.
S-Rich and malty....rich melanoidins....again more bock like that maibock like but impressive.
T-Toasted malts, sweetish, much more of a vienna and muich malt impression than a pils maltiness which is what I'd expect for a maibock...with that said it is tasty even if off style...there is a bit of hop character of the finish that lends touch of spiciness.
F-Medium bodied...for as rich and malty as this began it drinks relatively balanced with a light spicy dry hop impression on the close.
O-This place really only makes above average beer or better and this is no exception. Not really a maibock stylistically but a very well made tasty spring lager.....i'd call it a regular bock personally but I supposed it could be considered kind of a hybrid bock/maibock....either way a great beer to see brewed among their million pastry stouts and hazy IPA's...they do throw the lager guys a bone more than once a year so that is appreciated because they do them well..
