IBU: 25 / MALTS: BPILSNER, VIENNA, MUNICH, SMOKED MALT, CARAFA 3 SPECIAL
Taking German heritage malts, Hallertau Mittelfruh hops, and cold fermenting with our British Ale yeast strain, this beer strikes a balance between hop bitterness, complex maltiness, and crushability. Copper colored, with subtle to assertive hop bitterness, and slightly elevated ABV, we're sure beer will spike your curiosity and leave you wanting another glass

On tap at the brewery. White head with lace. Copper color.
Has a bit of a Smokey/rauch vibe that I like. Very malty. Bready and biscuit. Grassy, zesty hops. Rye like spice. Solid lager. Fun to see an alt on tap.

Been too long since I’ve had an alt beer, this one features some smoked malt that surprised me a little, but it works fairly well.
At the tap room, served in a willibecher, very shiny deep and clear copper-amber, with a thin ring of head that subsides and leaves a little lacing. Nose is a little muted but it gets better as it warms…bready malts, herbal and earthy and warm hops, with moderate to high bitterness. There’s definitely a little sulfurous note or something interesting there. For the abv, the body feels a little thin, but that’s not a negative…it’s a tasty beer with some nice things going on.
