I had this on draught at the brewery. 12 oz. pour served in a goblet. It pours a cloudy, golden-honey color with one finger of bright white head and lacing. I have to say that all of D96's beers are very attractive! This one has a subdued nose: a slight earthy, cereal smell is about all I get. Lately, fruity APA's seem to be all the rage but this one has a grassy, earthy taste and feel with oats and wheat. There's not much fruit in the taste. It's different but quite good. This ale is lite and crisp, pleasantly carbonated, and the 5.5% ABV is barely noticeable. I'm not very familiar with the Australian hops used in this APA but its flavor is distinct and very pleasing. This is a perfect beer for casual drinking with friends. It would also pair really well with one of Burger Loft's great hamburgers.

pint-sized pour (tulip glass)in their lovely taproom
L- looks like pudding, a bright orange-y mango color with a quickly dissipating white head
S- tropical aroma just jumps out of the glass, really enticing, some pine as well
T- slight wheat-y malt, followed by grapefruit, and some tropical mango as it warms, with a piney finish
F- soft smooth mouthfeel, light bodied, but intended to be
Overall another great offering from District 96, a sessionable Pale, with slight above average ABV
