Lightly hazy yellow appearance. Excellent head retention and lacing.

Lemon is the dominant everything here. Lemongrass, lemon zest. Nice bready malt backbone.

Very crisp and clean. Hoppy but not bitter. Exceptional drinkability. Pretty good.

Clear golden body with plenty of carbonation witnessed, feeding a plump eggshell white head, thick sporadic lacing here.
Nose is gentle hops with lemon grass flair, delicate nose overall honestly. Taste features huge lemon, next biggest is grain, then grassy hops, and finally pilsner malt. Feel is crisp, hoppy and light, feel more malty for sure. Just kind of strange how fruity this one is, almost shandy like from the hops, not bad at all, refreshing even

L: 4. Classic Pilz. Golden body with ample carbonation.
S: 3.75. Lemongrass. German hops.
T: 3.75. A bit sweet, but otherwise classic pilsner. Bready malt. The hops come through strong.
F: 3.75. Medium mouthfeel. A bit heavier than expected from a pilsner, but not unenjoyable.
O: 3.75. Solid take on the style. A great option to have on tap with a Burger Loft Burger.

On tap at Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.

This one pours a golden straw yellow color, with a small head, and a lot of lacing.

This smells like herbal hops, sweet malt, minerals, and grass.

This is pretty solid stuff. District 96 is a hop factory, so it's nice to see some traditional-ish lagers coming out of there. It's crisp and clean, but not quite as crisp as some of the best pilsners. There's a certain indescribable something missing here - I'm not exactly sure what it is. I still enjoyed it though, with the elevated herbal and grassy hop character, and the slightly-too-sweet malt finish. I think a bit more deftness in the malt department would go a long way here.

This is light bodied, with a great level of drinkability, and a soft mouthfeel.

I enjoyed this a lot, but it does need a little bit of touching up.
