Can: Poured a hazy/cloudy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hoppy notes with some floral hops undertones and some residual sugar notes. Taste is also a good mix of citrusy hoppy notes with some floral hops undertones notes and some residual sugar notes. Body is full with good carbonation with some discernible fusel alcohol notes. Well made double NEIPA but could have been more attenuated and less sweet.

Can from the source. Incredibly smooth and so wholly drinkable . Respectable and mildly sweet. Hop flavour there without noticeable haze burn.manna beer.|

Sweet tropical hoppy, slightly malty, and orange-tangerine citrus nose on this one! Taste follows with a super-soft, slightly malty hoppy and orange citrus bitter finish. I am not sure of the canning date when I had this...and time has probably taken the edge off of the hops a bit, but this is really tasty! And, the mouthfeel on this triple is just about perfect IMO. Good Stuff!

Picked this up a couple of weeks ago when I made my first run up to District 96. This was part of the last of it that they had in stock and I'm lucky to have gotten my hands on this as this was a fabulous beer from start to finish, as evidenced by it's lofty rating on here!
This had a milky peach hue to it with just a bit of light seeping through around the edges. Plenty of foamy head topped it off as it was quite thick and took it's time settling down, although the lacing left behind was quite sparse with a few scattered splotches and soapy waves left near the middle of my pint glass. A ton of stone fruit in the nose along with some mango and orange blossom as the taste started off with a ton of melon before progressing into sticky tropical fruit, sticky oats, and underlying booze. Yeah, this was potent and warming as the heft went hand-in-hand with the range of flavors that this had as the Citra and Mosaic were present without any overt burn to them. Tangerine cream entered the fray once this fully warmed as the taste matured quite a bit by the time I got to the end of this, which didn't take very long.
Plenty of body and a light enough carbonation ensured that this would be as light as possible for an Imperial IPA. As I always say, I wish that the can was dated although this looks like it was pretty new based on what I saw on their Instagram page. Just a tiny bit of sediment ended up at the center when I took my last sip but that was irrelevant as this was a beast of a beer that I'd easily have again. Props to D96 for killing it and making it look easy, once again!

Decent head production, retention, and lacing. Body is on the darker side of yellow, pulpy, and opaque.
Juice-forward aroma, primarily tropical. Mango, orange, papaya, nectarine, berries, melon.
Similar on the palate: juicy and lightly sweet. Pineapple, mango, papaya, melon, tangerine, lemon; low bitterness, and a mild-to-moderate dankness on the back third. Smooth and creamy feel; remarkably light bodied for the high ABV. Really grows on me over time.

Poured from undated - but recently released - can into a snulip glass. It pours a murky, dirty golden-orange color with a large, creamy, egg white head and a thick coating of lacing. Its nose is tropical: orange, pineapple, and stone fruit, with a hint of vanilla cream. The taste opens with soft but highly flavorful fruit. I'm tasting tangerine, pineapple, ripe cantaloupe, and berry. There is also a creamy, oaty sweetness. The flavors are soft and plush. There is very little bitterness from the Citra and Mosaic hops. The mouth feel is super thick and creamy with light/moderate carbonation. The 10% ABV is sneaky; it's not overtly boozy but you quickly feel it. Overall, FOAPB is another fantastic big IPA from D96. It's amazing how much flavor they coax from a fairly straight forward hop bill.

Pours a hazy, slightly full orange with a finger and a half of bone white head. Aroma is citrusy and tropical with some stone fruit, super inviting. Flavors of orange, tangerine, mango, and nectarine burst forward. Finish has a slightly sweet tinge to it along with only a hint of the 10% ABV. Medium, maybe medium plus in body with moderate plus carbonation; smooth and creamy. This beer is juicy, well integrated and nuanced. For a beer of this size I’d be expect to be hit over the head with flavors but while the flavors here have a certain intensity to them there is definitely a balance. This is just about everything I could ask for in a TIPA.
