Pours a hazy dirty straw color with two fingers of head. The nose has modest citrus notes. There's a grainy quality that is predominant above any other flavor note. The finish has a mild bitterness.

How does one fight the haze? It’s with more haze. Thwarting the notion of the rum-dum and average hazy ale on the market, District 96 Beer Factory takes on the mundane with a quality, juicy, bitter and fruity hazy ale in a near trolling manner.

Pouring a rich orange juice appearance, Nasty-Snarky Question builds an illustrious eggshell froth and a radiant scent of candied fruit, citrus, tropical, herbal and juicy melon. Its first sip reveals a cereal-rich taste of honey, faint caramel, shortcake and cookie dough in a full and sweet grain display.

The bready-sweet grain flavors start to fade on the middle palate and make way for a starburst of hops. Fruity with orange, red grapefruit and mango, the intertwine of citrus and tropical fruits then reveal more passionfruit, lime and pineapple. Seemingly candied in its fruity sweetness, the hops soon turn to a tightening taste of lemon verbena, berry, spruce, hemp and balsa all wrapped in a cocoon of cantaloup.

Trending balancing in its bitterness, the session finishes malty-dry and medium-sweet. Growing bitterness means that the beer is serious about being an IPA to answer the very snarky question.

Deep, cloudy orange in color with vibrant white head. Nose is soft citrus initially then on second sniff grapefruit. Taste is same, soft citrus flavor and then grapefruit. No bitterness to speak of, unfortunately.

Bright golden-orange. Whipped, white head for days. Lots of citrus in the aroma along with a marshmallow dream. Citrus soured melon rind, Altoid tangerine sours, orange sherbet jelly beans; starfruit, buddha's hand and other yellow-skinned tropical fruit. Herbal vanilla and some white pepper throughout. Soft, smooth, pillowy feel, med body,
